    What happens when you get piss on? the hardwood or have wet feet when you get out of the shower ? huh

    When reading the maintaince instructions the consumer will see that wet cleaning is not allowed nor is steam cleaning. The term laminated wood would describe a multi layered wood floor or plywood which is? “laminated”. Both of which would not be recommended for a bathroom installation.

    Hope this explains why our floors are suitable for a two-piece bathroom install.

    Hi floorlay,

    The difference between different laminates is the ability of the floor to resist swelling. TORLYS laminate installed in a two piece bathroom? will perform very well as the HDF core board is the highest quality swell resistant flooring.

    why would you lay laminate in a toilet….! its laminated? wood and will swell with any type of moisture inc..steam….

  6. TORLYSinc says:

    He means to prevent water or moisture from seeping in? around the flange or along the walls. This can be from spills or someone wet mopping the floor.

    @Vid
    He mentions water damage…. I can sort of understand that right around the toilet… but what about the walls? What is he referring to when he mentions water damage? Does he mean like when the? owners maybe mops or something?
